New Play Initiative 2019
Rosemary and Time
Directed by Erika Ziner
April 9-14, 2019
In its fourth year, The New Play Initiative features a new student-written play chosen from submissions, and then developed throughout the spring semester in collaboration with the playwrights, director, dramaturg, and actors. Join us for a story from the next generation of artists.
This Year's New Play is Rosemary and Time written by Emma Rund.
Packed full of sugar, spice, and cooking metaphors, Rosemary and Time explores the importance of independence, and the harsh reality of Alzheimer’s. When Rosemary's daughters come home for thanksgiving she will be faced with the reality that her mind is slipping away from her, and she just needs a little more time, always just a little more time.
